So, after a quietish day yesterday, all sorts of work landed on my head again today. Yep, another spreadsheet of informational goodness. I may die.

Today was long. I woke up at 8-ish, which wasn't bad (I usually wake up naturally around that time, because my room faces east), and got dressed and made up (I wore a dress with leggings, belted at my waist, instead of the skirt, because I was supposed to have my class photo taken today, which totally didn't happen) and grabbed coffee before class.
Then I had math from 9:30 till 12:00, and writing from 1:15 to 4:00, which was really good, but really long. It's not that it's even really long hours, but you're just absorbing so much that it takes a lot of effort not to hit complete saturation and stop listening. I'm remembering a lot more of the math than I thought I would, but I'm going to have to work pretty hard at factoring, because I keep messing up the signs in trinomials. My summer homework (the policy memo we had to right) turned out okay, considering I had no idea how to write one - writing quality was good, detail was good, specific structure was somewhat sketchier, but I got mostly "good" or "excellent" evals on the rubric. Though apparently my "topic sentences" were not very good, and I wrote in the passive voice, which I didn't even notice.
Oh well. I think I'm taking yoga with a girl in my class, so that will be really nice - I haven't done much yoga before, but I'm just looking for something to get me away from campus.
I have a LOT of homework tonight; four chapters of math problems and 15 pages of reading, with a memo-format writing assignment due by tomorrow. Apparently you have to actually do work at grad school! I will try to be social (at least on the internet) in a bit, after I've finished all of this.

Omg, Sophina Brown aka moral!Sharkling from Shark is joining Numb3rs. I might have to start watching again.
Laurence Fishburne replacing Grissom? I'm officially intrigued (though.... isn't it kinda offensive that they bring on a new male lead guy rather than just promote Marge?).

Hey guys - I need a beta reader for my Apocalyptothon. It's about 1,870 words in and I'll fill the reader in on the who and what (since it's supposed to be hush hush except for the beta reader) once I get a yes. :D
